Custom home screen replacement by Infinix
XOS Launcher is a free personalization application from developer Transsion Holdings. It's a third-party app launcher and home screen replacement based on the custom Android overlay developed by Infinix Mobile called XOS. It offers a similar user experience without having to own one of the brand's smartphones.
Just like Yomo Launcher or Apex Launcher, XOS Launcher lets users customize their home screen with cosmetic options, as well as a different way to interact and use their device outside of the default launcher that comes with it. It comes with unique special features that enhance the user experience.
Infinix XOS
Infinix Mobile is one of the newer players in the Android smartphone space. As is common with these offerings, it features an in-house developed overlay. Its version is called XOS, and it comes with a custom app launcher and home screen replacement pre-shipped with its devices. There's also the XOS Launcher, which is a standalone app for non-Infinix users to install and experience.
The XOS Launcher is highly customizable and that lets you create a very personal home screen setup. You get a personalized feed called Zero Screen to get the latest trending news, weather updates, and games. Jump over to the Discovery section to browse through wallpapers, fonts, and themes you can apply to the launcher. You even have a spelling rolling effect animation for your app icons.
Then, there's the Smart Scene section wherein you can discover and get notified of new hits songs based on your preference. Another handy feature is called Freezer and it helps you identify and stop persistent applications that run in the background to free up more RAM. Now, as expected, this standalone version does not have some of the features included in the full XOS overlay.
